Same thing happened to me (at work) I asked for written documentation of the debt and they said that they had already sent it to me several times, which isnt true. I have filed a complaint with the FTC. Dont give them any money unless they are willing to send you written documentation of the debt, which they are required to do by Federal Law within five business days. You then have 30 days from receipt of that notice to dispute the debt. Delete

My husband had a voice mail from the same company looking for me. How they have his number linked to my name I dont know. They said the same thing abou a courier and same time as well (2-4). I called them back and left a message giving them my number along with letting them know I researched them and found that this is possible collection fraud and that I am reporting them to my State Attorney General as well as other agencies. Will be interesting to see what happens next. Delete

They called me today and left me a message like the ones above w/ call back # of 888 729 8636, stating they would be by tomorrow between 2-4pm at my home and if I was not a home, they would show up at my work and my supervisor would have to witness me signing for papers. I called back, they wanted a case number, told them none was left for me and I have no idea who they are, lady then wouldnt try to look me up by my phone number after she got rude when I asked her twice was the name of her company was she then said lady, you called me. WTF.....I told her that they could come by wherever they want to but unless it is a process server FROM A COURT of law, I do not have to sign anything and I will not and IF they truly had my information (home and work) why call to tell me they are coming? I then told her since she was refusing to give ME any info, I would go google their name and then I hung up and blocked their # which was 888 729 8636. Idiots. Delete

Got several calls from blocked #, finally a message was left saying the same exact thing. First off if Legal Documents were being delivered you will never get a phone call warning you that you are being served. 2nd if your employer was involved then they would have to mail the so called legal documents to your employer, and again you wouldnt get a warning. If they warned everyone that they are about to be served a summons, like i was told, then the ones being served would make themselves unavailable so they arent served. If you are not properly served then you will not have a failure to appear in court, like i was told. This is a scam!I would suggest to ignor them, if they keep on calling, SUE THEM! Delete

Recvd call for my husband, claimed he had papers to serve him for signature, I asked for what, he said he could not give me that info. Told me to have my husband call back with a case number and if he did not call back and set up arrangements for the papers to be processed there would be a warrent issued and the Shariff would deliver to the house. Told him to bring it on, because he wouldnt call anyone back that wouldnt give info as to why he needed to call, was informed he would be served at work and cause embarassment, I then askled where he showed my husband worked, of course he couldnt tell me and said he had ways to find out then hung up on me. I have contacted our local courts and there is not anything in my name as well as contacted my local police department who stated that a courier service would not be used to serve, a Constable with the Sheriffs Department would and they do not normally call to make arrangements. This is a scam revolving around getting you to pay an old or fraudulent debt. They threaten you with legal action that is not legal for debt collection. They also will not let you talk. They will interrupt you at every turn. Not nice people. If you talk to them, you should play along until they email you information regarding their company name. You can then turn it into any Consumer Protection Agency and they will police the matter for you at no cost. Delete
