Someone named Lisa James wanted to buy some art I had for sale on craigslist and both emailed and texted me offering to pay by cashiers check. I replied that I only accept paypal for out of state purchases. They said they would only pay by cashiers because they had gotten screwed over with other methods. I said sorry, no sale. She or he keeps texting me. When I googled the phone number, I saw that I was one of many people they tried this with. I wish they would get caught and be punished. How can I help? Delete

We put some autos on craigslist and the same thing happen.    We just did not respond too the messages dueto the fact had figured out they were scams. Funny partis the number changes all the time. Wish people like this would get a life and stop trying too scam people. Delete
