I received a call from this number saying they were with the Fraud Investigative Department. I have a hot check from 8-10 years ago, that is now being processed in the District Court, for a criminal complaint. They had the last 4 of my SS, last known address, current name and called me at my place of work. She said if I wanted to put a stop action order in place I could pay the amount today and avoid the protocol the district court would be proceeding with. (supboena and possible jail time) I told her because of all the fraud on the rise I would be seeking legal council and she said she understood. My husband has called our old bank that the deposit was supposedly made into and they can not find such deposit. Delete

Number called me, my mother, and mother in law stating they have sent certified documents and that I needed to make a pre-trial statement or have a lawyer contact them about an issue with my social. I didn’t answer. Mom and MIL did and were concerned. I called back. Lady used my maiden name, I have been married for several years and said that these certified docs were sent to an address I haven’t lived in at least 6 years. She then asks me to confirm my date of birth and last 4 or social. However, she only had my month and year of birth. I asked her to give me my full birth date and social and she got an attitude and refused saying she can only tell me if the number I give her is correct. I said not even my birthday. I then said “how about this, you tell me the company that you represent and send the certified mail for”. She said “ok ma’am let me pull that info up on the computer.” She then hangs up and I haven’t heard from her since. Do not confirm anything for them. Delete
