I received a call from this number saying they were with the Fraud Investigative Department. I have a hot check from 8-10 years ago, that is now being processed in the District Court, for a criminal complaint. They had the last 4 of my SS, last known address, current name and called me at my place of work. She said if I wanted to put a stop action order in place I could pay the amount today and avoid the protocol the district court would be proceeding with. (supboena and possible jail time) I told her because of all the fraud on the rise I would be seeking legal council and she said she understood. My husband has called our old bank that the deposit was supposedly made into and they can not find such deposit.
