this person is a scam

This number called my daughter's cell phone accusing her of taking money from their company and saying that she owed them money. They said that in November 2010 they deposited money to her account and that she had 21 days to pay it back. They alleged that when she did not pay it back they had to give her 3 months before they could contact her. Said that if she did not pay the money back that they would be taking her to court and suing her for fraud. My daughter called me and told me what happened; I asked the person on the other end to send proof of that she signed something and proof that they deposited money into her account. He then said that in the paperwork it states that they do not have to show proof of anything, he ended up hanging up the phone after being told that she would be charged all of this money in attorney's fees.
