Called at 3:10am scam

I received a solicitation on my cellphone from 941-726-3435 that instructed me to call 877-552-3579 to get a free $50 gift voucher. I called the 941-726-3435 number to remind them that soliciting cellphones is illegal, but no one answered and the voicemail box is full. So I called the 877-552-3579 and a recording stated that I didn't win the voucher. I held the line to speak to an employee and when he answered, I informed him that his company had just solicited a cellphone, which is illegal. He immediately hung up on me.
