Called with no answers. Then I called back - always busy.

Spoofed number.

They hung up on me when I requested to be removed from call list.

Phone rang. No message was left on anwering machine.  *69 revealed this phone number: 925-738-0224

I hope more people check into the fact WHO stands to profit most off those that get on the internet and look up these numbers that call.So many calls and no one answers ? Once one goes and looks the number up again and again with different numbers changing all the time it may appear someone could possibly be a way to herd people like cattle to these sites that make monies off your ad clicks and the use of your IPO address that now follows your movements with tracking cookies. Just think of the traffic this type of search generates! You will notice the more this technique is used the more companies you see come online that offer information in your search for unkown numbers. Very profitable way some companies can generate a whole hell of alot of revenue. Eventually this if it is a scam is getting closer to being revealed.

Called just after 10hrs this morning when all at my house were at work.

My computer started screaming that it had been infected with malware and told me I needed to call this number. When I called, the person who answered had a strong accent, likely India or Pakistan. I STRONGLY suspicion that this number is part of a scam aimed at infecting computers and subsequently selling a purported remedy.
