Disconnect calls dont amswer

Received a call from this number from a guy named Jason Smith with a very heavy accent stating that he is from IRS. He said that IRS did an audit of my personal tax returns and discovered a mistake on my tax return from 2004 until last year and he wants to help me to rectify the mistake. I received calls from similar #s before threatening me and my husband that we will get arrested for some reason. I searched that # and found out that some scammers are calling from 202 # and threaten people that they will get arrested. This time I asked him if he really is from IRS or is he a scammer calling me. He got really upset and said I will know when IRS will send police to arrest me and hung up. I am sure these are the scammers calling people to get money or IRS would never contact people thru phone.

Have been receiving 3-4 calls per day from this number for past couple of months. Finally got tired and angry about the intrusions and answered the phone. Male with foreign accent claimed that they had monitored that my computer had logged on with an "error report" and that their company could take over my computer and remove all of the unwanted items that "created the error issue". Caller then became argumentative when I told him that I had sufficient fire walls on my computer and that I was NOT INTERESTED in any of their scams. Have turned to unplugging landline at night to prevent the calls beginning at daybreak. Highly pissed off with idiots like this!

This is a progressive insurance agent that takes care of accident claims. If it calls you after an accident i would answer.
