They are some sort of hardship consumer program offering some [removed:lang] 'no obligation' [removed:lang] and offers to remove your number by pressing '1' and then typing in your number on the keypad. I didnt type in my number due to other scams they run and thats one way they get u caught up in [removed:lang] is by having YOU type in your number to be 'removed' from their data base. I didnt wanna risk it so I chose not to and rather call blocked them instead.

I GOT A TELEPHONE CALL FROM THIS NUMBER SAYING THAT IT WAS THE SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE AND I NEEDED TO CALL THEM BECAUSE SOMEONE IN NORTH CAROLINA WAS USING MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. I CALLED AND WAS ASKED TO LOOK UP SOCIAL SECURITY TELEPHONE NUMBER ON MY COMPUTER, HE SAID HE WOULD CALL ME BACK ON A RECORDED LINE TO COLLECT MY INFORMATION. THE PHONE RANG, CALLER ID SAID “SOCIAL SECURITY” WITH THEIR PHONE NUMBER OF 800-772-1213.
