menu options to remove phone # does not work.

Hang up when my phone went into answer machine at 8:53 pm Feb. 17.Anyone with similar calls?

Did not answer as I did not recognize the number. They did not leave a vm.

This call/ number keeps coming up on my phone as unknown number with the 1 800 581 2028 and when I go to answer, they hang up.. I want to know who it is. And I want them to stop calling me.. I am on a national do not call list and these calls are getting more than annoying..

'Hello, this is Heather at Account Services.'This is, evidently, a long-running telemarketing scam. Just google 'heather at account services'. The bogus area code in the spoofed caller ID, coincidentally (?), prevents one from reporting the call on the FCC DNC complaint page. That page won't accept numbers with an invalid area code.
