I keep getting random text messages from this phone number 908-798-6088, yet I have no contacts in the NJ area where the number is from.

unidentified to me, just keeps on phoning.

I keep getting e-mail identifying this number and it has an attachment that just says "text". I certainly do not click on this and I do no know anyone with that phone number.

Anyone knows who they are? Found the number in my call history.

SCAM-bogus debt collectors. No name, co. name. Harrass family, coworkers, HR dept and say they are trying to "serve me" with paperwork or they are a "prelitigation firm" or "locator". DO NOT TALK TO THEM, DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR ADDRESS OR ANY BANK INFORMATION. Filing coplaints w/Attorney General does not help. Per FBI - scam, do not talk to them. They use a SPOOFCARD and can change their caller id to any number/name [Sheriff's Dept., DA,etc]. 3/7/14, 2pm CT. "This call is for ___. We have attempted to call you on numerous occasions and we are forced to make a decision that will result in adverse or unwanted action against you unless we hear from you or your legal rep today. Call #888-285-3759 x110, with 5-digit file #.

ABSF*******OMORONS! They keep calling and hanging up, Other fake # is 888 333 5008 Im searching them viciously on the net; IF I FIND YOU PRAY YOU HAVE A GOOD EXCUSE FOR CALLING ME AT 5AM & VIOLATING THE FCC REGULATIONS I AM GOING TO SUE YOU OUT OF EXISTENCE!
