Got a call from Unavailable number, offering lower rate ... slowly got some information from me, even though there was a HUGE red FLAG because it came as an unavailable number. The rep got very pushy wanting my cc number. I asked for a number I can call them. Person representing themselves as a supervisor with a heavy Indian accent said he was 'Mark Benson' ... RED FLAG. Third big FLAG Calgary's area code is not (727). I was given 727 470 2360 ext. 8004 to call Mark Benson. Ah the lure of much lower interest rate (greed) and the fumes from the Fantastic antibacterial cleaner I was using at the time clouded my judgment and I did give my d.o.b. and exp. date.
