SPAM CALL - Recorded message claiming that you "haven't missed a ComEd payment in x months...Press 1 if you'd like to save 30% on your ComEd bill." This is obviously one of those companies claiming to supply electric service cheaper than ComEd. BEWARE! IT'S A RIPOFF! HANG UP! Your electric bill will increase, and you won't be able to escape this contract.

I received a phone call also from this number, as I did call the number back, but no one answer, they would like you to leave a message on their answering machine and it says that they will return your call. I then put this number 866-218-1042 into the Google browser and it pulled up this site. I already knew it had to be a scam or just some sort of advertisement. If they call again, I will ask them to tell me the SS that has been forwarded to them and see where it goes from there.

This no. was IRIS, the optical character reader that comes with HP printer/scanner products. when you registered ur priinter/scanner & got that software on this, these people will ring you to attempt to offer you a upgrade to the newest version. Not a scam, however this was a telemarketer.
