we live out of state. these people rang our Mom in Boston & ended up leaving a 'reference number'.

Do you know who I am,oh I'm one of you're cutest cousins from Mexico! What's you're name ? Is this blanks house? Oh can I talk to you're dad? Oh I'm one of youre family members from Mexico!and kept insisting until he hung up and blocked his number

Guess too many ppl are aware of the Microsoft/Windows Tech Support scams therefore these people are attempting Symantec now, lol.

given as return number for "microsoft support" by unsolicited caller tryign to get me to give access to them :)

No message was left. Called the number back - it's 'American First', which I presume is a mortgage company. There is a voice-menu option to remove your number, but I don't trust it, of course - I think it's more likely that it's a phone-number harvesting method.
