received a text - asking me to open a link to see a video about them (the sender). Identified themselves as someone I know - but the 415 phone number is definitely NOT theirs.

Wrong! This is a SCAM! The U.S. Social Security Admin will NEVER call a person cold like this. They will send letters if need be but never call.

Keep your personal information secure and never give it out to these criminals!
