Text said I had signed up for cat facts and would now get daily texts about cats. I dknt even like cats

I got a call from this number. They new my name nd started telling me that I won a contest. I told them to remove my number. The connection was bad and the person on the other end (male) was speaking softly and in a creepy tone. He said he could not remove my number from his database and hung up.
