my friend is gettins absurd calls from this number.. please help!!!

It is a telemarketer. If you call back you get a message saying that no one is available to take your call.

I have found what looks to be possibly a hand-held device used by a vendor. Device was found at the curb in a residential neighborhood. Lost? Stolen? Device has internet, phone, and can scan bar codes. Owner may e-mail me.

received a call of someone name william  from new york something like century liquidation said i owed over $ 2,0.00  from a loan that was made to me. i only borrow money from my local bank.  the phone number is 914-740-40.  have never heard from them before.  would  not fail to pay if i borrowed the money but i dod not. they need reported

I was called by this number along with a case number. They asked for someone who does not live here and the number they called was my wife's name not mine...but my cell phone number. They Called themselves 'United' and would not give me any other information.
