picked up call, person calling instantly hung up! got another ring on spouses telephone within minutes later, did not answer, no msg.

Ive been getting several random number crank calls but they are recordings. It is kind of odd to me and makes me feel uncomfortable when I recieve this calls. I feel like maybe its a hacker or something.
