Auto warranty scam

Suspected scammer call for my dad (on my phone); stating they were Pacific Coastal (law offices). They were suing my dad for writing bad checks ($732.50) back in 2007. My dad's been passed away for 10 years and they indicated that they would go after my mom's accounts. They called me on a number that I got long after my dad passed away. There is no way he could've been linked to my phone number. Smell something super fishy!!!

Claims to be from 500 fast cash and requesting I pa them $250.00. However, never obtained anything from this company
