Thank God our bank would not cash the check. we very believe these ppl are related to the ppl with the brentwood brokerage con. cos we did not get a ring with Martha until we rang them. Received a phone message from 'John' who said he was from the "CFC Tax Reporting and Compliance Dept." He said they were "Processing a 1099C against my name and social security number." Sounds creepy.

Seems to be a scam ... why would the request verification to use this number as a means for contact
