Calls my cell phone but doesn't leave a message.

Calls every day at least 3 times never stops I looked up phone number senior scam

ring to our 800 no. on Sat. afternoon at 6:17 AM. soon as we ring back the recorded message states the no. was not in service.

Someone is texting me from this number. I responded to the initial 'hi there' message with a 'hi there, who is this?' msg, thinking it might actually be from someone I know.. but then the texter wrote back that he/she had 'found my number in a chemistry Book at piper and wanted to see if it was real.' I won't be texting back but it struck me as suspicious so I looked up the number and here I am.
