Slick voicemail...uses this is so and so from the FCA.

Caller ID showed "Connellsville, PA" left no message charity scammers

I got a call from this number while on a plane ride to Colorado on 12-31-10. I didn't pick up and let it roll to voicemail. The man on the message was illiterate and I could barely understand him when listening to the message later on. The message stated that I had been awarded $2.4 million and that I needed to call the number he left right away to claim the prize. I didn't call back. Today 1-13-11, I got an email stating that numbers from the 876, 809, and 284 are from Dominican Republic and are scam area codes. If you call these numbers back or answer them, the company charges outrageous fees for the long distance call. Your credit card company automatically gets this bill and you are charged for the fees. This is hard to protest since you did answer the call and you did call back. So, be warned, DO NOT PICK UP THESE CALLS!

This is not spam, this is a real alert. I just got this same text and phone call, I then called the number printed on the back of my card and they confirmed that a fraudulent charge was attempted in the same amount said on the text. I then closed the Macy’s card.

Got a call from Global International at this number saying i won 2.5 millions in a sweepstakes drawing, just had to send a western union money for 300.00.

Seems to be a prank call. Recorded, threatening, male voice giving me directions, similar to that of the movie 'Eagle Eye.'

got 3 rings with 'em therefore far. Different ppl & these people said We are a winner.

rang us employer & family's house. proclaimed to by tony perez & provided a claim number
