Why do I have a feeling that these people are getting paid, every time a person receives a call!

had a ring with this no. stating these people would lower our interest rate on a credit card, waited for somebody to come on, we requested exactly what the telephone ring is in reference too these people put the phone down or cut off the ring.

we keep on receiving rings on our mobile telephone at about 2:30am every day. do not recognise this no. & no msg left. attempted phoning back however had no reply
