Woman named Ashley calling about student loan info, left msg on my vmail. I am 61 yo and loan was pd off 30+ yrs ago. I did call the number back that she gave 888-784-5467...I do not believe this is legitimate as it took a while for the person to come on after it connected and then you could hear the phone agents in the background. Told the woman with an accent to take me off the list there is no one here with a student loan. Others have reported that the cb# 888-784-5467 is unsafe. So I am reporting this Unsafe.

Hung up on me the moment I asked a question

The woman said her name was Brenda and I owed a hospital bill from Murray-Calloway County Hospital in KY. . but calling from MO?!? OK! She was very rude, wanted money, then hung up on me. I called back several times and was told I was calling a home phone!!! Right! There was ALOT wrong there! Everytime I tried to call back, they continued to hang up on me. Definitly not a debt collector!!!! I know because I have and have had insurance! Will be calling the hospital to let them know what is going on :)

I got a msg saying a law suit was filled and a arrest warrant has been issued, that needed to call the number back for more information concerning this matter. After numerous attempts to call back n getting a busy tone, i researched the number and found out its an irs scam and saw that other people have recieved the same exact msg.
