This number (person) wont stop texting me or stop calling me

Some prerecorded message.  Didn't wait to here what is was.  It started off: 'Hello, please wait for an important business call' then put on hold.   Sounds like some robo-calls trying to generate customers.  Other sources (YP) trace the number to:Michael J. This number calls at least a couple times a week, sometimes more. (more lately) They only let it ring 3 times and then hang up, being that it is difficult for me to get to the phone, I am always barely to the phone and then they hang up and never leave a message. I live in Idaho, so I when I see the caller I.D. I assume it is someone local calling, but since it only rings 3 times and they hang up, I am now thinking it is a scam call.

No message 8:35 PM night call from "RNC". Calls repeatedly using different numbers. Serial harasser.

Scam trying to get my social security number

Some time ago my spouse subscribed to the National Enquirer never got her magazine. Connection was bad and they ask if she got the magazine. They always say the magazine is coming but want some more money. They keep changing their number. She stopped giving them money sometime ago but they keep calling. We keep asking 'who they are' and we don't give any account iinfo over the phone if we don't know the person and they hang up.
