Just had a ring on our cell no. did not know therefore we didnt answer. ended up leaving no msg. Added to our blocklist.

They claimed to be Credit One Bank when I called back. But t ...

said they were looking for rentals. i asked her to mail me something, she said they couldn't do that, i asked her for a website, she said they were password protected. sounded sketchy.

I got a call from them which was answered by an automated scripted machine explaining if I have more than $6,000 in credit debt with high interest rate -- which I do no -- they can help me reduce it. Upon pressing 1, it connected me to an alleged rep. I asked his name and he introduced himself as Matt. Immediately, I followed up by making an inquiry about the name of the business he was calling from -- he hung up promptly. When you call back at this number (334)-245-2345, it says the number is disconnected which is a lie. What they've done is that any incoming call to this number is answered by an automated machine imitating the oft-heard "disconnected" message you normally hear on legitimately disconnected numbers. From what I've read online, this seems to be a credit fraud/scam. Avoid at all cost. I also would like to know how to report them and to whom.
