CVS. I've asked for no reminders, no auto refills and no more calls period and this automated service will call every few hours until you answer.

Why does this 8 number appear so often on sites, specifically international sites, offering support dealing with money transactions, as well as hocking cigarettes?  Does anyone else find this suspicious.  I got a flier in the mail from a company that was offering to help me through a debt management assistance program.  The number they listed was 1-8-770-3133, but when I Googled the number, it was linked to this other site in Switzerland.
