This was an unsolicited call that offered to send a representative to my house to discuss ways that I could protect myself from estate taxes and other costly evils that could befall me. I am a senior citizen of course. The come-on was full of doomsday scenarios in which I could loose my house, life, etc. It was very clever. The caller said she was Jessica Harper. She said she represented SRS senior resource services. The call was from the Toledo area of Ohio. There is a legitimate non-profit of that name n Colorado. There is nothing registered to that name or to Jessica Harper in Ohio. Upon questioning the caller admitted that they were being paid by various companies to 'inform' seniors about their services, and, amazingly, she still insisted that her organization was a charitable institution.
