Caller is texting me pretending to be somebody I know when in reality I dont. I have no idea who it is, but this is really bothering me.

I am so glad that I have this one on my phone.

They will not answer the phone when i call them back to ask who is calling.

A phishing scheme and phony caller!

Called my home phone, had a clearly foreign accent (Indian would be my guess), said his name was Jack Brown (right...) and wanted to 'compensate me for a medical surgery I had in the past'. When I told him I wasn't buying, he spoke relatively ugly to me and did not stop when I asked to be removed from his list. Could hear other callers in the background when call began, knew it was a telemarketing call. I hung up. 'Jack' the gumption to call me back about ten seconds later and say more ugly things. I told him to remove me from his list and he kept right on telling me 'Listen, that is not necessary.' I told him twice, strongly, never to call my house again and hung up. No thanks, dude. If he calls again, I call authorities. That was all kinds of out of line...
