Calls repeatedly late at night, does not speak English

Calling-ID shows 'FLORIDA'. these people didnt pass on a msg therefore this was a telemarketer

frequent nuisance calls at all times of day and night.

Called my phone and said with an automated voice asking for me and if I knew the where about of *my name* to press 1 to speak to an investigator so I did. When I did I listened in on what sounded like music and talking, when I said hello the phone hung up. When I called back the lady asked for my birthday and then to verify if the last 4 digits of my social was a certain number. It was not, I asked what this phone call was about and she told me it was regarding a bad check in 2011 with some stock enterprise or something like that. I told her I don't know what that is and that I didn't even have checks then the phone hung up on me. My gut tells me these were scammers.

This is the third call from a 713-265-x number identified as 'Pay Phone' in two days. This time it left a voicemail message that this was a known call forwarding scheme and not to accept charges. This message seemed to come from my phone company.
