This person is trying to scam me. Do not deal with them. Bad bad bad

CONTINUOUSLY get calls from this number. Have called back to tell whomever or whatever this is to LEAVE ME ALONE and can never get a person or even any type of voicemail. Some sort of scam. I get calls approximately 4 times a week.

THIS MUST BE A COLLECTION AGENCY. A POOR ONE AT THAT. THEY'VE LEFT 50 MESSAGES ON MY MACHINE FOR SOMEONE I DON'T KNOW AND WHEN YOU TRY CALLING THEM BACK TO TELL THEM SO THEY WON'T CALL YOU, YOU GET A MACHINE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE BUT THE MESSAGE CENTER IS FULL.. VERY FRUSTRATING, ENOUGH SO I'M DOING THIS FOR THE 1ST TIME..

had telephone ring with this no. stating these people were with the 'US Law Department' about a unpaid loan & requested for name of my attorney. these people rang friend's of ours stating that I got done some thing to get 'em into trouble. we rang 'em back & informed 'em that I got contacted the local authorities & my solicitor & informed 'em that when these people didnt quit pestering me & my friend's that I would be bringingn suit against them. havent heard with 'em since.

Who traced the no. to find this out? was this very a id theft scam?
