Sent text out of the blue all it said was “hello”.

Called back and got a recorded message. Poor guy! A fraudulent company has used caller id spoofing to have his number show up when calling you. He can't even use his phone anymore@

It called earlier from a different phone number from a different state. Robo call, obviously a scammer - will also report the earlier one too.

I use a Google screening service. It gives the caller the opportunity to say who they are and what they are calling for. No one ever said a word. The line remained open with no one speaking. I finally disconnected the call after 5 minutes.
