Got something in the mail from that same number...sounds like it is some sort of traveling scam. The check they say is good to receive a travel voucher from US Airlines for 1298.00 round trip to travel to anywhere in the US.

I just got a call from this number saying they know me, but i didnt recognize the voice or the number of the caller. They asked me about me and my job and they know quite a bit about it, which made me thinking, who is this person? they said they was my friend, but like i said, i didnt recognize the voice and so i just kinda hung the phone up. oh, and i dont know anyone who lives in new mexico =S

I get 3 calls a day. Never answer. The one time i did no one was there

Received a call and a woman said that she was a travel advisor. Then asked: Can you hear me alright? This sounds like a new scam which records you saying yes and then uses it to charge you for unwanted services or adds charges you your credit card.
