I have received so many phone calls from these indian sounding people. It is crazy. This is a scam do not pay it. They get ur info from a payday loan place. I have spoken to my attorney who is now a state rep and he says the same thing. Abc news has actually done a story on these people. If u receive numerous phone calls from different numbers don't worry because it is the same people using different phone cards.

My mother in-law rec'd a similar identical letter.Most likely they will ask you to send a check for some amount like $1.000 and deposit the check they sent, which will bounce as it is either a stolen or counterfeit check.The phone number in Montreal for Mr Pierce is a a private cell phone number not the IRS.Contact your state fraud department and send it to them.
