i just got a phone call from them as well. they initially called me but then told them to call me back. they also talked about attending college classes and financial aid and I told them that I wanted to take a gap year and they hung right up.

Called saying he was "the repair man" Spam. Never requested any household repairs. May be a scam.

Number called me & a man on the other end said I hit his car today & busted his taillight and dented his bumper and asked for my auto insurance, i said no i did not hit your car and asked where he got my number and he said i left a note on his car with my number on it and i asked him where did all this happen at & he would not tell me & here is the problem in his story today I've been nowhere besides my house and the fire Dept down the road from my house where I work at & did not hit any cars on the way there nor on the way back, so my best bet is either someone hit his car & wrote down a wrong number & it happened to be mine or it is a scam pointed in the direction of naive people or an elderly person whose memory is not what it used to be & therefore would just oblige him so he can bill their insurance and get free money
