I didn't get a call, but a text message from this number. It's a NY area code and I don't know anyone in that area. It was just before 5 am on a Sunday morning and the message contained a bunch of letters & numbers, but didn't spell anything. I'm worried that it could be some type of a scam where they're trying to bill my phone for something.

Phone number has called several times. Card services offering lower interest rate. When press 9 to speak to representative, asked to remove my number from their list. They refused - because they want me to take lower interest rate. When I said I would report them they hung up on me.
