Millions Call

This number has called me twice (once fri afternoon and again on Saturday afternoon). Its a land line from Georgetown, TX. I answered on Friday and it sounded like someone was doing something in the background (not actively on the phone). Then they scrambled to get to the phone when I answered and started talking in Spanish. I live near Daytona, FL. No idea who this is, how they got my cell number, or what they want.

No one would speak so I dont know what kind of call this was but the area code was from a very far away state ive never lived in or interacted with

we got a mail with a firm rang 'Global Direct Grant' & a check for $2,995. 00. The mail said that we got been selected to get a grant for $50,000 & that we should deposit the check into our bank account. We are instructed to ring a Mr. Lewis Cox at (450) 675-3658 to confirm the check. we rang BancorpSouth (the bank on which the check was written) to confirm the validity of the check, & no such account no. exists.
