A female called from this number and asked for me by name, but would not introduce herself after I asked her to ID herself. I advised her her not to call back if she woulod not tell me who was calling.

A Mrs. Lee called me from a company called international Recovery 2. She was trying to collect a settlement amount on an old pay day loan, but wouldn't give me a specific company. She said many companies fall under one big umbrella company. I have had loans in the past, but have also been a victim of scammer calls, and have sent money when it wasn't legitimate. She said I owed $1,800, and would do a settlement for $275. The original loan she said was $300.00. She was supposed to have sent me documentation regarding this, but I am still waiting for it. I am smelling a scam. What do you think?
