Millions Call

Call came in at 7:16AM which by itself is suspicious and certainly not anyone that I know. It is listed as coming from Boston, but no name. Sent to voice mail, but none was left so it is not a call that I would ever answer.

They left a message saying to contact them on behalf of old insurance I used to have. Spam

Voicemail claimed they were calling from the US Treasury about tax fraud and I need to call them before my case goes to federal claims court in front of a magistrate or I get arrested. The IRS deals with tax fraud not the US Treasury and the IRS sends notices in the mail and has you call them. They never initiate contact via phone.

Those ARS people used a local line to switch things up--asked for callback at 866-888-9096.    Sneaky.

Caller has call 4 times in the last 9 days, twice in the morning on October 1st and twice on October 10th, and they do not leave messages just four loud beeps on my answering machine.
