Wife received a notification of credit card activity and this number to call.  When called, it asked permission to send a text message to my cell phone.  the message is below.From 23Reply Y now to get info on the # you are trying to reach.  Locator Svc $9.99/month+other chgs may apply for 20 lookups/month. Support/Terms? w.smsvw.com.I believe this to be a scam related to 800-741-5900.

Professional con artist trying to scam people said he is a healcare worker looked up his license non existing

got a sms with this no. attempting to convince us this is a old war friend by the nickname I use for him.

Wanted to know address and land location, even mentioned a realtive's name but I have no idea what they wanted, had a terrible accent and was unable to understand her.

Calls but doesn’t leave message

My caller ID specifies call is from Elgin IL. Called me twice yesterday and once today. Left no message.

Automated message saying the call is from Dept of Social Security.
