A man called at 9:33 am (EST) today and claimed to be raising money for the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) for returning veterans from Iraq. DON'T ever trust anyone who calls you for a donation over the phone. There are TOO MANY scams by people using veterans to get money! this person called asking for someone, When I said that person was not with the phone number, he asked for me name, When I refused my name he was very vulgar in his response.

surely a scammer. requested them to provide identity that she was a IRS officer. she put the phone down. subsequently she just put the phone down every time soon as we called.

Not much to tell. The call came in on Sunday, Apr. 20/08 at 8:25 pm. My answering machine picked it up and the caller hung up.

I belive these are the same people from the 888-288-8241 post i made, beware they are changing there numbers and location this one from florida i can tell same vocie recording on voice mail and same refrence number.
