the call was about my Microsoft license has expired and that I need to contact them about renewing it SCAM

I was getting calls from (866) 289-7485 on just my land line and asked them to stop several times telling them I was not a member of their union anymore. The calls stopped coming as often but then Saturday the number called my cell phone all day long without leaving a message. I don't answer my cell unless I know who is calling because of computerized calls like these.

Numerous issues have been submitted on 2019-10-23 with the FCC in regard to unrequested telephone calls from (203) 717-4158

FYI, it's a little different in the USA. Charities are exempt from our DoNotCall Registry and charities can telemarket DNC registrants. However third party fund raisers hired by charities to raise funds on their behalf are not exempt and may not call DNC registrants.
