began phoning & SMSing

These people kept calling me and I finally called them back out of curiosity. Got an \"Officer Kevin Black with the IRS\". The Indian accent and the call center noise in the background was a dead giveaway that this was a scam so I messed with him a little and got him to admit that it was a scam. He tole me that he needs the money and that I don´t know his situation. I was surprised at how easy it was to get them to admit fraudulent activity. Anyway long story short, no, I would not suggest giving them any of your personal information including your name. Feel free to call them and mess with them a little, I had fun.

we got a prank ring on 11/10/08 at 10:51 pm and 11:00 pm. The person calling referred to us by our name. we have no clue who would ring us at such a time. Any info obtained would be greatly appreciated.

This number called me using profaine language and demanding that I give him money. He called 8 times within a 10 minute span. I assume he called the wrong number, but am I at risk for violence?
