**ALERT**SCAM**ALERT Received Text 12/17/2017 2:45pm EST Text is below, I took out part of the beginning of the link (http//:) to prevent others from clicking on it since it could be a link to anything from a virus to identity theft. Text: "Hello! Your friend (They asked to remain anoymous) Gifted you a $100 Starbucks Card! Visit bit.ly/2kD59hK and use claim code 4552 to redeem!" Starbucks has confirmed this is a scam. They do no text their customers. They will send you emails if you're apart of their Rewards program but you HAVE to give your permission to receive emails. You can also send E-gift cards through email. But nothing is done through texting.
