we just hear that the person calling disconnects soon as we pick up.

Calls from this number are from a male and are harrassing, threatening, and anonymous. Caller says that he will continue to call back.

This number comes from a Litigation firm who buys bad debt from banks. This is a legitimate company. If you didn't default on your credit cards then they wouldn't be calling you. No one is stealing information. If you owe thousands of dollars in credit card debt, the company that owns your debt is initialed to serve you with court docs to proceed in the litigation process to retrieve the money that is rightfully owned to the bank. It is perfectly legal. Pay your debt and you wont be bothered.
