They called and left message and stated that I was being audited and that they had my ss# that I should call right away when I called back the toll free number it is a non working number then when I researched their number that was on my caller ID it comes up a cell. I am so tired of these phone calls but now worried my ss# is roaming all over the united states now where do I go from here I already contacted the attorney generals office but seems like this is an on going thing maybe just totally delete my home number but my identity is a stake now any help will be appreciated.

HERE'S how to have your phone number removed from the DAV calling list: Call (816) 836-0368 (the donation center) and request your number be placed on the internal 'Do Not Call' list. If you receive the voicemail, leave your number and request on the message. I just left a message AND called back and spoke to a 'Sarah,' who assured me she was removing me immediately. We'll see. It only took six phone calls to various numbers to find the right one. The DAV are just obnoxious spam callers.

Yes I got a text saying the same about cl, me like a dummy tried to get it on my phone, message was I had to use my laptop or desktop computer, but I didnt, I hope I haven't messed my phone up!

Credit card scam. Showed up as a local number so I answered it, but clearly, they are duplicating local numbers to make these spam calls.
