The male caller left a voicemail stating he was from the "office of the social security," and there is an allegation of fraud against my social security number, so I had to call the social security office at this number: 256-813-4084 and that it was urgent.

Who rings with this no. & exactly what do these people want.

I had this call and - actually found that I had written it down on a National Rental Car receipt (which means nothing) but someone obviously gave it to me. I was thinking it was a cab driver in San Francisco? The system connects you to the 'client's' cell, home or you can page them? Bizarre.

Caller claims to be from Microsoft and offers to address error reports submitted by your computer.
