Call control literally does nothing to stop these. Wont be resubscribing

i think its a number coming from a scam on craigs list. people wanting to buy something and sending a check for greater then the amount you want. then want you to cash it and send the leftover to a shipping/moving company from south carolina. the checks come from texas.

There is a scam going on where a person posing as one of your customers calls to get their sales contact name, and right after they ask for the business owner name, which is likely to be their actual target. They will then call you back later or another day asking for the owner directly pretending once again to be one of your customers in an effort to sell some sort of advertizing. In our case it was another number and they introduced themselves as UC Santa Barbara given we are based in California. The person on this most recent call introduced himself as part of Tennessee Tech University but the phone number was in NY!
