Millions Call

got call from 888-600-0708. it just sent a beep every few seconds. called 6 time in about 2 hrs. I lifted receiver, hung up, only way to stop beeps.

Received a call from this number, saying they were processing a loan application and my name, (my son-in-laws cell number?) and my home number were used as reference for the young lady making the application. The woman at this number "Colleen" also named a Road name that is non-existent as property I own. Just wondering if a 1-888 number is legit or are scammers using 1-888 numbers also. Thanks
