It was a cold call to get me renew my automotive extended warranty, which had recently expired. Red flags: 1. When I ask who they were and how they obtained my phone number, there was dead silence, before they changed the subject. 2. They were pushing me hard to renew on the spot, without the option of mailing me coverage options and costs, to think about for a while. 3. If they were truly legitimate, they would have sent me detailed coverage information long BEFORE my existing warranty expired. I recommend to stay far away from these unknown scammers.
